Real Estate Private Equity Funds—An Alternative to Stocks and Bonds
Discussed by:
Ira M. Lubert
Chairman, Lubert-Adler Management, Inc.
There are other investments to buy besides stocks and bonds, which unfortunately are little known or understood by many individual investors. In our September meeting, our speaker introduced you to commodities. In our May meeting, Ira Lubert, whose company owns the Radisson Hotel in which we meet, will introduce you to private equity funds that buy investment-quality real estate. Mr. Lubert will explain what these funds are, how his company manages them, and how they fit in your investment portfolio

Local Chapter News .....
This entry page provides links to all five of the Philadelphia Chapters activities plus some news and summary information. Please click on the appropriate link for each activity: Chapter Meetings and our four Special Interest Groups (Computerized Investing (CI), Mutual Funds(MF), Options and Special Situations(OPS) and Value Investing(VI)). You do NOT have to be an AAII National member to attend SIG functions. Be aware that tickets are required to attend the Chapter Meetings and are available on a space available basis or by a previous purchase at a higher cost than to members. For both members and non-members, it's less expensive to purchase Chapter meeting tickets in advance. If you are not an AAII member, ask at the meeting for special membership rates.
