As
a determined technologist and engineer, founder Joe Veasey has worked
in technical, leadership and management roles with several world class
organizations in providing the delivery of complex mission critical
real-time computer systems. Joe is an experienced Software and Computer
Systems design engineer concentrating in challenging and rewarding
applications most notably for the medical instrumentation market and
the U.S. Navy. Mr.
Veasey has great skill in leading teams in the delivery of complex
Real-time embedded computer systems and developing the associated
infra-structure necessary to successfully deliver these systems. Today,
as founder of Jove Technologies, LLC, Joe is providing his
professional, organized and determined technology development approach
to organizations striving to get high quality computer based systems to
completion.
Never
far from the science or technology, Joe can also provide effective,
efficient and thorough technical skills most notably in the areas of
embedded software development; hardware/software design and
integration; Real-time operating system (RTOS) evaluation, installation
and configuration; and software architecture design. The irrepressible
tool builder, Joe can also provide tool suite services to provide
efficient and productive tools environments for developers.
Mr. Veasey has a B.A. in Psychology (Pre-med) from TempleUniversity; a B.S.C.S. from ArcadiaUniversity and a M.Eng. in Computer Design from PennsylvaniaStateUniversity. A believer in life long learning, Joe also has a certificate in Business from the SBDC at the RauschSchool of Business at LehighUniversity.
Mark C. O’Toole, BSEE, is a Jove Technologies, LLC Associate and Principal Engineer at Oasis Automation, LLC.
With over eighteen years experience, he specializes in Embedded software
for the Medical, Laboratory and Industrial markets from small hand-held
device to large fault tolerant control systems. He has developed
systems using Linux in industrial environments as well as back office
server application. He has performed work for Air Products and Chemicals
(semiconductor support systems), Campbell Soup (factory floor
communications systems), Immunicon Corporation (medical laboratory
automation), Hill-Rom AirShields (user interface design), GE Energy
(Linux based data-collection and report generation) and Ascom
(point-of-sale automated vending).
Mr. O’Toole is a member of the
Philadelphia chapter of the IEEE Consultants Network.
